Not at all Unexpected

22 Jan

Well, the jig is up. I referred to Zach Galifianakis as my ‘boyfriend’ in front of my children and my 8 year old asked me if he could meet him.  I had to then explain to them that I had referred to a man that I had never met, and more than likely will never meet, as my ‘boyfriend’. Not only that, I told them that he was the guy with the beard in G-Force, and that is SO embarrassing because that isn’t even close to Zach’s best work.

It must be a tough day for a kid when they discover that their mother is a stark raving lunatic.  Oh well, my dad referred to Cheryl Tiegs as his ‘girlfriend’ and I turned out….eh, terrible argument.  My kids are screwed. I just hope they choose an imaginary partner wisely.

This just made me think of Barney on How I Met Your Mother, when he thought Bob Barker was his dad 🙂

Enjoying your posts…Our kids know so much and so little about us. I’d just as soon keep it that way…
Thanks for stopping by Good Golly Miss Molly.
