Either the Worst Parents Ever or the Best

6 Dec

Just returned from the meeting with my eldest’s math teacher. It went well, considering we were telling him that he either brings up his grade by the end of the semester or he will be moved down to the non- gifted class which is not a big deal to me at all but to my child it is a fate worse than death. He cried, I cried, he says he will bring the grade up.

As we were leaving and he was going back to class his dad and I asked for hugs and he refused because he is just waaaay too cool for that so as he was walking away I screamed out to him ‘it’s okay honey, everybody wets the bed sometime’ which made him smile and walk faster and his dad yelled out ‘don’t forget to put that cream on your ball rash’ which made him burst out laughing.

We rule.
